Band / Choir Uniform Exchange & Recycled Band Method Book Program

Published on: June 4, 2018

On Thursday June 7 and Friday, June 8, the Performing Arts Parent Association (PAPA) will have a table set up outside the main office for Band/Choir Uniform Recycling from 3:00 – 4:00 pm for grades 3-12. Bring in your gently used band/choir current uniform (no stains please) to receive a voucher that can be redeemed for another gently used band/choir shirt to be picked up in early September.  Shirts can be exchanged for different sizes if available.

If your family no longer needs your student’s gently used band/choir uniform, please consider donating it to the school for the Recycled Uniform Program.

PAPA will again be hosting the recycled method book program for band students who will be entering grades 6-7 in the 2018/19 school year. Students entering grade 8 will remain on the same book for the 2018/19 school year as they have used in grade 7 (Essentials Elements Book 2 – specific to their instrument).

On Monday June 18 and Tuesday June 19, Mr. Mitchell Wiebe will be collecting and exchanging gently used method books in his office in the band room. Your student(s) can bring in their gently used method book to exchange it for another gently used method book to be used for the 2018/19 school year.  Gently used method books can also be purchased for $5 through this program, subject to availability.

If your family has method books from prior years that are no longer needed, please consider donating it to Mr. Mitchell Wiebe on June 18 and June 19 to be used in this program.
