Band Students Shine at Fall Concert

Published on: October 26, 2017

Linden Christian School hosted it’s first concert of the year on Wednesday, October 25. Band students in Grades 7-12 had enthusiastically prepared for this early in the school year concert and guests were delighted with performances from our Junior Wind Ensemble and our many Concert and Jazz Bands.

Our Performing Arts team encourages students in their pursuit of musical excellence and the high level of music performed throughout the evening showcased this priority and vision of Linden Christian.

Many thanks to our band teachers Mrs. Bobbie Fast and Mr. Mitchell Wiebe for their enthusiasm and love of music, and for preparing our students so well. Thanks also to our IT team, supervising teachers, PAPA,  LCS Administration, property staff and supportive parents.

This year our music students in Grades 9-12 will be travelling to Banff and Cuba. All Performing Arts students, beginning in Grade 7, may participate in PAPA fundraising initiatives. Commissions raised from student sales will be credited to personal trip accounts, to offset costs associated with travel. Visit our News page to learn more about upcoming trips and fundraising.
