Volunteer and Donate for Staff Appreciation Days

Published on: January 22, 2018

The 2018 LCS Staff Appreciation Days are scheduled for February 12 – 14, 2018. These days present an opportunity for parents to express their gratitude to all LCS staff (teachers, educational assistants, office staff, administrators, etc.).

Staff Appreciation celebrations will include:

  • Monday, February 12                            Tim Horton’s, Yogurt Bar, Fruit and Muffins
  • Tuesday, February 13                            Good Earth Coffee House and Pie Day
  • Wednesday, February 14                      Fiesta Luncheon

Parents have the opportunity to volunteer and/or provide a food donation. Volunteers are needed for the luncheon on Wednesday, February 14.  We are also accepting monetary donations to purchase ground beef and treats/gifts for each of the staff. If you would like to contribute financially, please send money (cash preferred) in a sealed envelope marked Staff Appreciation Days (attention:  Shelley Bergmann) care of the Main School Office by February 5. Please consider how you may best support the Staff Appreciate Days and click here to volunteer or make a food donation via Permission Click.

We hope that the verses we have chosen for these Staff Appreciation Days will encourage the staff as they serve at LCS.

“You are the light of the world.  A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.  Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”   Matthew 5:14 – 16

As a parent community, we want to show our appreciation to the staff at LCS who strive to let their light shine for Christ.

Thank you in advance for your support!  Without your support, these days would not be possible. Please feel free to contact Shelley Bergmann  at 204.864.2375 or tsbergmann97@gmail.com if you have any questions or comments.
