LCS Wings Hockey: Half-Season Highlights and Florida RunThe LCS Wings are showing a competitive spirit this season, currently holding a solid 4-4 record and sitting in 5th place out of 12 teams in the standings!
Congratulations to Eden S. and Anderson F. for their outstanding offensive performance, as both athletes are currently ranked in the Top Ten in points across the league.
Florida Tournament Success
The Wings recently flew south for a tournament experience in Florida. The team battled hard, making it all the way to the finals and finishing the trip with a 3-2 record. Beyond the competition, our players enjoyed the opportunity to swap their skates for some warm weather before the Winnipeg winter truly sets in.
Grade 12 Recognition
On November 21, we honored our graduating players. Six Grade 12 athletes (five from LCS): Max H, Riley N, Rylan F, Isaak B, Eden S, and Adam J. started the game together—and thrilled the crowd by scoring a goal on their very first shift! A true moment of teamwork and celebration. LCS took the game 7-1 against Pinawa.
