Linden Setter Recruited to Providence Pilots

Grade 12 Linden student and athlete¬†Pierce D. has been committed to the Providence men’s volleyball team for the 2016-2017 season. Pierce played Wings Volleyball throughout his Linden Christian High School education and will be a positive addition to the Pilots. He will bring character, work ethic and leadership to the table for the Pilots as he has been involved in Linden Christian Student Council (Co-President), Wings Volleyball and Wings Hockey during his high school years. The Wings lead setter helped guide our team to Provincial victory this year, recently won the MHSAA Travis Price Hockey Award for Spirit and Leadership and was named MVP of the AAA High School Volleyball Provincial Championship in 2015. Pierce has been accepted into the Administration program at Providence with both academic and athletic scholarships.

As a Pilot, Pierce will join a juggernaut team that won the MCAC (Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference) play-offs last season. Congratulations to Pierce on his commitment!
