PAPA Uniform & Method Book Exchange Program

Published on: June 11, 2019

On Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12, the Performing Arts Parent Association (PAPA) will have a table set up outside the Main School Office for Band/Choir Uniform Recycling from 3:00 – 4:00 pm for Grades 5-12. Bring in your gently used band/choir current uniform (no stains please) to receive a voucher that can be redeemed for another gently used band/choir shirt to be picked up in early September. Shirts can be exchanged for different sizes if available.

Due to the EY’s Concert on June 19, Grade 3 & 4 families are asked to wait until after June 19 if they are interested in trading their child’s music uniform shirt for a voucher for a larger size or style. Parents may hand in their child’s shirt with the EY’s Office for a voucher.

If your family no longer needs your student’s gently used band/choir uniform, please consider donating it to the school for the Recycled Uniform Program.

PAPA will again be hosting the Recycled Method Book Program for band students who will be entering Grades 6-7 in the 2019-2020 school year. Students entering grade 8 will remain on the same book for the 2019-2020 school year as they have used in grade 7 (Essentials Elements Book 2 – specific to their instrument).

On Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12, PAPA will be collecting and exchanging gently used Band Method books from 3:00 – 4:00 pm.  Your student(s) can bring in their gently used method book to exchange it for another gently used method book to be used for the 2019/20 school year. Gently used method books can also be purchased for $5 through this program, subject to availability.

If your family has method books from prior years that are no longer needed, please consider donating it to PAPA on June 11 and June 12 to be used in this program.

Please watch for further communication as to when PAPA will host the recycling programs in September through the Linden News Note, LCS website and email.  New band/choir uniforms will be available to be ordered in September through the school.
