Riding and Walking For Impact Ministries

Published on: October 18, 2021

Linden Christian Senior Years students spent the afternoon on Friday, October 15 cycling and walking to raise funds for Impact Ministries in rural Guatemala. Impact schools provide a place of refuge for over 1700 students, as well as offering academics, health care, nutrition, a loving community, and an introduction to God’s faithfulness.

Instead of sending a missions team to Guatemala this year, each LCS Senior Years student walked for 5 km, or cycled for 10 or 20 km to raise funds and awareness for Impact. It was encouraging to see the generosity of our community and the enthusiasm of our students throughout the afternoon.

Our students and community surpassed two of their fundraising goals and to date have raised $14, 227 for Impact Ministries. Discover more ways to help at impactministries.ca.
