Global Service in Guatemala

Linden Christian School recently sent 19 Senior Years students and 4 staff members to Tactic, Guatemala for an 11 day missions trip with Impact Ministries. Hearing stories from the returning students has been inspirational and encouraging! This trip marks the eighth year that Mr. Cam Stephens (Director of Spiritual Care & Campus Life) has successfully partnered with Impact Ministries to envision and direct a high school mission experience for our students.

The annual Guatemala Missions trip reinforces Linden Christian School’s core values of equipping students to serve in the local and global community, while giving our students the opportunity to grow to be devoted followers of Christ and compassionate community members.

Praising God in Spanish and visiting the mountainside fields to learnĀ about the economic potential of Seeds of Tomorrow were highlights for the students. They also experienced the amazing hospitatlity and love of the children in Chamche, administered VBS programs, and participated in work projects at Chisac. Visiting sponsor children’s homes, and witnessing the fact that a strong Christian community creates a light stronger than the darkness are just a few more of the amazing highlights and growth opportunities that this trip provided.
