50s Theme in Part-time Kindergarten!
January 27
Our part-time Kindergarten class celebrated 50 days of school on January 27, 2025. Students worked on math and literacy skills and learned about the number 50 throughout the day. Students were invited to dress up in 1950s style outfits.
Mrs. Morgan Florko’s Kindergarten students took part in 50 second challenges, learned how to blow bubble gum bubbles, and had the opportunity to taste-test root beer floats. They played “Race to 50”, parked their classic cars (chairs) and practiced their counting. They also learned fun words from the 1950s that are different from today, like “Jukebox”, “Poodle skirt” and saddle shoes”.
What a great day in Kindergarten working on numeracy and learning about the 1950s!
