Support Linden Christian School
Invest in Christian Education
Linden Christian School (LCS) is an independent school that is committed to excellence and is passionate about our mission to provide a Christ-centred education that equips students to love and serve God.
Linden Christian School needs your financial support in many areas. The Bursary Fund provides financial support to families that value a Christian education and need some tuition assistance; the General Fund supports teacher and professional development, the acquisition of classroom equipment, athletics, music programs and special projects.
Funds raised by capital campaigns support upgrades and additions to the school building. Thanks to the generosity of donors, some of the capital projects we have undertaken over the years have seen additions to the school including much needed classrooms and office space, an art room, a choir room, a band room, a library expansion and a new playscape for our Kindergarten and Grade 1 students. In 2018, to meet student demand for science classes, a new, state-of-the-art Science Lab was completed.
In 2020 we raised funds and completed the LCS Field Restoration and Redesign.
An opportunity to support Linden Christian School comes every spring when LCS hosts an annual Fundraising Banquet in support of the Bursary Fund and other special projects.
Collectively, our fundraising programs help Linden Christian School provide a school environment that focuses on building tomorrow’s Christian leaders. Thank you for your ongoing support of the mission and vision of Linden Christian School.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17).

Spending of donated funds is confined to approved programs and projects approved by Linden Christian School (LCS). The Bursary Fund ensures that Linden Christian School is able to continue to provide a Christ-centred education that equips students to love and serve God. Supporting the Bursary Fund is an important way to ensure that the children of all families that value a Christ-centred education will receive a well-rounded, biblically-inspired experience at Linden Christian School, regardless of means.
2022 Capital Campaign – The Community Courtyard
With your support we can create a welcoming, outdoor space for our students! The current courtyard, with a loose rock surface, is undeveloped, not accessible and does not have enough seating or shade. Our vision is to develop a courtyard with a smooth, paving stone surface, additional bench and table seating, and shade trees to create an inspiring outdoor gathering place. Construction will begin in the summer of 2022; with a timeline of Fall of 2022 for completion. Our fundraising goal is $230,000.
Questions and donations can be directed to Kristen Kroeker, Alumni and Development Manager, at 204.989.6741 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Annual Spring Fundraiser 2022
It was wonderful to gather as a community for our Spring Fundraiser “Taste & See”. Guests enjoyed appetizers and fellowship, a program in the Sanctuary and dessert from Bergmann’s on Lombard.
We heard from alumnus Alex Hansen, enjoyed student performances and Founding LCS Principal Phyllis Cook was honoured with the Builders Award. Our community heard staff members share memories of working with Phyllis during the early years at LCS. It was special to have many Cook family members in attendance.
Thank you to our event sponsors! Funds raised during the evening will be directed towards the Bursary Fund and the Community Courtyard. There is still time to give. Visit Donate Now today.
Other Ways To Give
There are many ways to support the mission and vision of Linden Christian School. Gifts of securities, mutual funds and registered investments can be excellent ways to give and can provide potential tax advantages when donated to a charity such as LCS. Legacy giving and estate planning are also ways to provide ongoing gifts to Linden Christian School.
To discuss these options, please contact Kristen Kroeker, Alumni and Development Manager, by calling 204.989.6741 or emailing email@example.com.
