Support Linden Christian School
Invest in Christian Education
Linden Christian School (LCS) is an independent school that is committed to excellence and is passionate about our mission to provide a Christ-centred education that equips students to love and serve God.
Linden Christian School needs your financial support in many areas. The Bursary Fund provides financial support to families that value a Christian education but couldn’t otherwise afford it; the Newcomer Bursary Fund helps families that are new to Canada send their children to Linden; the General Fund supports teacher and professional development, the acquisition of classroom equipment, athletics, music programs and special projects.
Funds raised by capital campaigns support upgrades and additions to the school building. Thanks to the generosity of donors, some of the capital projects we have undertaken over the years have seen additions to the school including much needed classrooms and office space, an art room, a choir room, a band room, a library expansion and a new playscape for our Kindergarten and Grade 1 students. In 2018, to meet student demand for science classes, a new, state-of-the-art Science Lab was completed.
This year we begin a capital campaign to raise funds for the LCS Field Restoration and Redesign.
An opportunity to support Linden Christian School comes every spring when LCS hosts an annual Fundraising Banquet in support of the Bursary Fund and other special projects.
The Gift Card Program will be offered six times throughout the year to support the fundraising efforts of Performing Arts students, the Athletics Department and Grade 12 students raising funds for graduation.
Collectively, our fundraising programs help Linden Christian School provide a school environment that focuses on building tomorrow’s Christian leaders. The success of these programs is dependent on your participation.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17).

Field Capital Campaign
The Linden community is excited to be raising funds in 2020 to restore and redesign our field. We have been blessed with a significant commitment to match donations up to $200,000!
The City of Winnipeg is restoring parts of our field that were affected by construction of the Waverley Underpass. They plan to begin their work in early June. Our field has served us well for over 30 years and needs repair and enhancement. It makes sense for us to complete the work while the City’s project is already taking place.
There are 3 Tiers to the LCS Field Restoration and Redesign plans. The support we raise will determine which tier we achieve.
Our goal is to have our students using a fully restored and enhanced field by fall 2020. Together, we can achieve Tier 3!
The Bursary Fund ensures that Linden Christian School is able to continue to provide a Christ-centred education that equips students to love and serve God. Supporting the Bursary Fund is an important way to ensure that the children of all families that value a Christ-centred education will receive a well-rounded, biblically-inspired experience at Linden Christian School, regardless of means.
Newcomer Bursary Fund
The Newcomer Bursary Fund assists new Canadians, immigrants, and refugee families that are establishing themselves in Canada. This fund helps families that are choosing a Christian education for their children to have a rich and rewarding experience at Linden Christian School.
Annual Fundraising Banquet
Our Annual Fundraising Banquet will not take place this year as we stay home to stop the spread of COVID-19.
We are appreciative of the support our banquet has received from our community in previous years and we look forward to gathering next year, on April 24, 2021. At this time, if you can participate, we are grateful to receive donations for our bursary program. We anticipate the need for bursaries will grow due to COVID-19. We are also accepting donations and pledges towards our field capital campaign until December 31, 2020.
Options for giving include online (using the Donate Now form on this page), by cheque mailed to LCS, or via e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for partnering with us through these times.

Other Ways To Give
There are many ways to support the mission and vision of Linden Christian School. Gifts of securities, mutual funds and registered investments can be excellent ways to give and can provide potential tax advantages when donated to a charity such as LCS. Legacy giving and estate planning are also ways to provide ongoing gifts to Linden Christian School.
To discuss these options, please contact Kristen Kroeker, Alumni and Development Manager, by calling 204.989.6741 or emailing email@example.com.
