Linden Christian School (LCS) invites applications for the position of Accounting Assistant.
This is a 46 week part time position with 22.5 hours per week from late August to early July with time off
at Christmas Break and Spring Break.
The Accounting Assistant performs or assists with accounting functions including compiling, classifying
records, verifying and maintaining data and payments of accounts receivable (tuition and other
payments), donor records, and general accounting. Previous experience with Excel, Google Workplace and accounting programs would be required.
This position will suit an individual who enjoys serving others, providing creative solutions, is highly
organized and accurate, likes to plan ahead but can adapt to last minute changes, has a positive attitude,
and wants to learn and grow in an environment where serving God together is rewarding and
meaningful.

JOB SUMMARY: The Before and After School Care (BASC) Staff provides childcare for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6 who attend the program. The BASC worker is on duty for morning, afternoon, or split shifts. Activities include childcare, activity planning and participation, basic administrative tasks, daily chores such as set up and cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Anticipated M. Shift (7:15 – 8.30 A.M.) and/or P.M. Shift (3.15 – 5:30 P.M.),or modified shifts for LCS students
- Check BASC staff message board or emails, assignment, and daily plan
- Set up, maintain, and supervise assigned area(s)
- Greet children and engage with their morning or afternoon routines and activities (i.e.snack, quiet or active play, homework)
- Maintain accurate attendance list for students in your area(s)
- Communicate regularly with Supervisor or Coordinator and promptly as issues arise (i.e. injuries, incidents, accidents, and any other concerns)
- Direct students to the appropriate area on arrival and promptly at parent pickup time
- Support Supervisor or Coordinator to provide late care or other tasks as needed
- Attend orientation, training sessions, and staff meetings as assigned
- Submit availability and report hours worked to Coordinator as on time
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Experience with children
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Developing problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to supervise, care for, and play with children
- Must enjoy working with and caring for children in Kindergarten through to Grade 6

The Worship Minister shall minister to the spiritual needs of Grant Memorial Baptist Church (GMBC) through leading and planning worship services and celebrations that are honoring to God, consistent with biblical principles of worship, and that demonstrate the values and advance objectives of GMBC. The Worship Minister will have a passion to lead stylistically diverse worship environments including traditional and contemporary formats to engage the congregation in
authentic worship. The Worship Minister will have the proven ability to recruit, equip and empower volunteers to serve in all aspects of the worship ministry.
Time Requirements: 37.5 hours per week, 1.0 FTE.
In addition to regular office hours, Sunday is considered a work day, as are various evening practices and meetings as required.
