Payroll Assistant Job Description

The Alumni Engagement and Communications Associate  will support the Advancement Team by assisting in the management and oversight of tasks, functions and communications related to LCS alumni. You will help to inspire, inform, and engage the alumni community and greater LCS community with timely and informative newsletters, an engaging alumni web presence, events, and innovative social, and digital strategies.

While working in a collaborative, team environment, you will also be involved with planning and/or supporting events at the school including special events, alumni events, the fundraising banquet, new parent information evenings, etc.  The role will also include opportunities to support the Advancement Team’s overall communications efforts.

You will contribute to LCS Communications, working with all aspects of Linden’s online presence and social media including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, developing content to promote and celebrate the LCS community.

You will have a strong belief in Christian Education and the LCS mission, have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for writing, experience in record management, knowledge of digital production tools, and should be a creative, critical thinker.

Linden Christian School (LCS) invites applications from adults for the Before and After School Care Program beginning in September 2022.

A successful candidate will:

  • enjoy working with and caring for children in Kindergarten through to Grade 6;

  • be available to work 3-5 days/week, Mondays through Fridays on school days only, with a start time of 3:15 PM until 5:00 PM daily

Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the supervision of childcare. In addition, some computer knowledge would be an asset.

The Technical Production Assistant will assist the Technical Production Manager and will learn and grow and be a contributing member of the Worship Ministries Team, focusing on supporting Sunday services, pre-production and other duties as assigned. This person will also provide cover for the Technical Production Manager as required for vacation or sick leave.

Time Requirements:
20 hours part time, 0.53 (EFT) based on a 37.5 hours work week. General office hours are 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday, alternative working hours will be required to meet the requirements of the position. Sunday is considered a regular workday and some weekday evenings will be required.

Technical Production Assistant Sept 2022

Lindenholm Ministries Inc. is a Christian non-profit housing corporation originally sponsored by Grant Memorial Church. It was incorporated in 1987 with the mandate to develop and operate two 55+ residential properties for seniors within a caring Christian community. These properties are located at 885 Wilkes, Lindenholm Place and 895 Wilkes, Lindenlake Terrace.

This position is a live in, salaried position based on 40 hours per week, (typically 8 hours per day Monday to Friday with some flexibility required). Extra hours will be paid at an hourly rate. Position will reside in the building; a suite will be available for rent plus utilities.

This position reports to the Property Manager. Duties would include but not limited to, those assigned on a routine or occasional basis from the following listing.
