The Arts play an important role at LCS. We believe children should be encouraged to appreciate and nurture their God-given gifts and talents. LCS provides a safe and supportive environment as students learn to express themselves through the Arts.

Accomplishments
Linden Christian School’s Performing Arts program has developed a reputation for excellence over the years. Both our Senior Years Concert Bands and Senior Years Jazz Bands have a tradition of being awarded perfect five star ratings at the Winnipeg Classic 107 Radio (formerly Optimist) festivals. Our last two Senior Years musicals were honoured with Rainbow Stage Awards for excellence in the production of musical theatre. Our choirs have been selected to perform in the Canada Day Celebrations at Parliament Hill and at Carnegie Hall.
In addition to receiving numerous awards at both local and international festivals and regular invitations to the National Music Festival, our ensembles are regularly commended for their Christian character. This embodies the mission of our performing arts department – actively pursuing musical excellence as a means of worship, while being ambassadors for Christ.
