Scholastic Book Fair is Wild!This year’s Scholastic Book Fair was welcomed back to LCS for the first time since 2019. Students were transported to a jungle-themed library where they were able to explore a variety of new books, posters and school tools.
Congratulations to the winner of our Family Draw, Keira C. from 1D, and our Guessing Contest winner Kiki A. from 1D! Congratulations to Mayla S. from 6L for her 10 out of 10 trivia score!
Thank you to our library technicians, Mrs. Elizabeth Inglis and Mrs. Kim Marr for their contributions towards and enthusiasm for this treasured event. We would also like to thank our students, hard working volunteers and families for supporting our book fair and classroom libraries.
What a wonderful way to celebrate and encourage a love of reading in our students!
The fair will be open during Triad Conferences on Thursday, November 24 until 8:30 pm and on Friday, November 25 from 8:30 am – 11:30 am.
