A Stellar Success: Still Time to Support our “Read Under the Stars” Book Fair!The week of November 18-21, 2025 will be remembered for literacy at Linden Christian School. Thank you to parents, students, and staff members for your participation in our “Read Under the Stars” Book Fair. There is still time to visit and shop together as a family during our Kindergarten to Grade 8 Triads on Thursday, November 20 and Friday, November 21.
Our library has been transformed into a cozy, backwoods reading retreat and continues to offer a wonderful opportunity for students and families to discover new literary treasures. The campfire themed / outdoor / starlight decor has been a hit with our students.
Fueling a Passion for Reading
Our library has seen many “campers” this week. Students from Grades K-7 visited the fair during their scheduled library slots, eagerly browsing the full range of books, posters, and educational tools available.
Investing in Our Library
The primary goal of our book fair is to serve as a vital literary fundraiser, and thanks to your incredible generosity, we are on our way to fantastic results!
- School Library Support: The funds raised directly through your purchases will be used to significantly expand and refresh our school library collection, ensuring our students have access to the latest and best resources for learning and enjoyment.
- Classroom Wish Lists: We are thrilled by the overwhelming support for the Classroom Wish List display! Many parents are choosing to purchase teacher-selected books, which will soon be added to classroom libraries. Each donated book will feature a special bookplate personalized with the student’s first name, leaving a lasting legacy of their generosity for years to come.
Congratulations to our Winners
The Family Draw saw enthusiastic participation from students and families alike. Our winner’s name will be drawn on Friday, November 21. They will receive a prize of $25 worth of books for their family and $25 worth of books for their child’s classroom.
