A Well Watered Garden: Parents Bless LCS StaffThe Staff Appreciation Committee and our dedicated LCS parent community made Staff Appreciation Week (March 16–20) an unforgettable season of encouragement. Walking into the school and seeing the beautiful display, created by the team and anchored by Isaiah 58:11, was a powerful reminder that LCS faculty and staff are part of a community that truly cares for our “well-watered gardens.”
In the middle of a busy school year, seeing that promise – that the Lord will satisfy our needs and strengthen us – provided exactly the spiritual refreshment our 140 staff members needed to keep pouring into LCS students.
The generosity of our parent community was also evident in the phenomenal spread of food that fueled staff all week long. From Monday’s granola parfaits, fresh fruit, and muffins to the mid-week Wednesday Pie Day, staff felt thoroughly spoiled. Capping off the week with a Fiesta Lunch (with delicious dessert and gift cards) on Friday, March 20, was the perfect “grand finale.”
Every muffin, slice of pie, and taco was a tangible expression of God’s grace to us. We are so grateful for our wonderful parents and Staff Appreciation team for their service in blessing the LCS team!
