All the Christmas Chapel Traditions, Plus the GrinchAll the LCS Christmas traditions, plus some new ones, were on full display at our Kindergarten to Grade 12 Christmas Chapel on Friday, December 20, 2024.
We sang Christmas carols, Early Years students rang jingle bells, and we celebrated student outreach initiatives. Kindergarten to Grade 12 students were involved in Mitten Tree, Operation Christmas Child, World Vision, and Living World Temple outreach projects. Our Grade 5-8 students $11,452 for the World Vision catalogue this year!
Linus from Charlie Brown’s Christmas made his annual appearance, reminding guests to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
To honour our Head of School Robert Charach’s last Christmas Chapel before retirement, our community walked down memory lane with a photo montage of his years as Principal and CEO. We also enjoyed a nostalgic video of Star Wars memories.
New this year, the Grinch / LCS alumnus and Winnipeg Webhead Josh Pchajek ’20 stopped by our Chapel to learn about the true meaning of Christmas. His appearance surprised and delighted our students and attending guests.
