Alumni Event Brings the Fun

This year’s LCS Homecoming event had a little something for everyone.

The doors opened at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 23, with pastries, fruit and hot coffee waiting for the first group of alumni to arrive. After a quick snack, many headed to the large gym to watch the Basketball Challenge, where our alumni took on LCS teachers. The LCS mascot of old, “Wingo”, wasn’t too animated, (he has seen better days) but he offered his support to all the participants. Much to the chagrin of the alumni, the teachers took the win!

Following the basketball game, a BBQ in the South Hall was in full swing. It was great to see so many alumni with their children in attendance. Head of School/CEO Rob Charach gave a big welcome to all and guests enjoyed the bounty of food that was available.

The Yearbook event saw the Class of 2023 return to LCS to retrieve their yearbooks. This area was buzzing as alumni perused LCS yearbooks spanning the last 23 years.

The day concluded with music by the All the Right Lights, a band comprised of alumni and teachers, past and present. Music filled the room and we sang along while visiting and eating up the last of the delicious food.

A big thank you to the Ramsdale family, and all the staff who supported this event with set up, barbequing, and coming out to hang with our alumni. It was a GOOD day!
