Connecting our Community at Kick-Off BBQWe hosted our Kick-Off BBQ and Meet the Teacher event on September 21, 2022 for the first time in three years. It was wonderful to see parents, staff and students connecting and familiarizing themselves with the school building and staff members. Parents appreciated the opportunity to meet their children’s teachers and we loved getting to know the new families in our community.
The LCS Class of 2023 hosted the event; preparing and serving food and selling tickets to parents. Proceeds from the evening will support graduation events for our students.
After eating, parents visited their children’s classrooms and met teachers from all divisions of the school. What a great way to start the year! This annual event reinforces our school’s commitment to providing an education built on relationships.
