LCS Alumnus Named Amateur Golfer of the Year for the Second TimeLinden Christian School 2021 graduate Braxton Kuntz was named Male Amateur Golfer of the Year by Golf Manitoba on November 2, 2022.
Kuntz ‘ 21 has been chosen for the honour two years in a row. The selection recognizes outstanding performance by Manitoba golfers in all levels of competition, and has been awarded annually since 1975.
The Breezy Bend Country Club member won the Manitoba Junior Championship and the Nott Autocorp Men’s Amateur Championship. He has also represented Team Manitoba and is the first player in Manitoba to win both the Manitoba Junior and Amateur Championship in back to back seasons (2021 and 2022). Kuntz also finished tied for third place at the Elmhurst Invitational.
