Puck Drop from Former Wings MVP at Alumni Appreciation Game

The LCS Wings hockey team hosted an Alumni Appreciation night on November 1, 2024 at the RINK Training Centre. LCS alumni were in attendance as our Wings took on the Edward Schreyer Barons in an intense game that went into Overtime. Our Wings hockey team had been on hiatus since 2020 and we are pleased to have them back in full force for the 2024-2025 season.

We were thrilled to pay tribute to attending alumni at the game and thank them for playing, cheering on and supporting our team during our early years of the Wings hockey program.

It was exciting to welcome back LCS alumni Mark MacKinnon ’13 for the puck drop. Mark played for the Wings during our opening season in 2012-2013, was the league MVP, and went on to play college hockey with the Briercrest College Clippers for four years before taking his talent to Sweden, playing professionally with the Trollhatten Hockey Club.

Thank you to all our fans and LCS Alumni for coming out to support the game!
