Staff Gather in Preparation for a New School Year

LCS faculty and staff gathered for their first Professional Development Day of the 2024-2025 school year on August 29, 2024. They enjoyed refreshments, catching up with colleagues, a time of worship, meeting new staff, and games that encouraged connections.

Our Head of School/CEO Robert Charach gave a keynote address on the importance of mission and vision, and all 136 staff members watched a video interview with the late LCS Founding Principal Phyllis Cook. Her passion for Christian education, the sacrifices made in the early years of LCS, and message of grace impacted the whole room.

The day also included round table discussions, medical training, reviewing and unpacking LCS policies, and a time of concentrated prayer.
