Thanksgiving Chapel: Hearts Overflow with Gratitude and PraiseLinden Christian School students from Kindergarten through Grade 7 came together on October 10, 2025 for our annual Thanksgiving Chapel. Students and guests participated in a heartwarming program focused on gratitude, community, and praise to God. It provided a wonderful opportunity for students to step into leadership roles, effectively drawing our collective attention toward the blessings we share.
The chapel featured a series of student presentations. The Grade 6 Choir delivered a beautiful performance of the song “Grateful Anyway,” while our youngest students, the Kindergarten class, recited their poem, “A Thank You to God.” Additional recitations by students across the grades underscored the theme of thankfulness for God’s provision.
The chapel also included a time of worship, where staff and students led the community in song, giving praise for all that we have been given. These moments of collective worship are central to the LCS experience, nurturing a spirit of humility and gratitude within our student body. Guests were invited to stay for coffee, snacks and fellowship in the South Hall after chapel.
Thanksgiving Chapel beautifully demonstrated the value of gratitude that we instill daily at LCS. Our students’ participation reminded us to pause and reflect on the many reasons we have to be thankful.
