Grade 7 Science Fair: Research and DiscoveryThe LCS Grade 7 Science Fair took place on March 12, 2025. Judges spent time with our scientists in the morning, and parents, guests and K-6 classrooms had the opportunity to tour the fair in the afternoon. Students were given feedback on their projects that will grow their thinking and research skills for years to come.
At the conclusion of the day Gold, Silver and Bronze medals were awarded in the Sanctuary.
This year the invitation for our gold winners (registration covered) and interested students from LCS to participate in the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium will be for Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, as there is an LCS Middle Years Band Concert in the afternoon on Friday, April 11. Parents can register here.
Our Grade 7 teaching staff did a great job of organizing the event and leading students through the scientific process. We are thankful to our parents who supported this valuable learning experience for the past few months. Thank you to our volunteer judges, who offered feedback to our students to support their academic growth.
