Lab Lift-Off: Fueling Physics EducationLCS students in Grade 12 Physics applied Graphical Analysis Software to determine the acceleration of an object due to gravity during class this week. They utilized inclined planes at different angles to gather their data and calculate acceleration. It was exciting to see our high school students engaged in hands-on, inquiry based learning.
We are currently fundraising to upgrade our physics lab. It is important to prepare our students for careers in engineering, computer science, medicine, research and more. An upgraded lab will provide the opportunity for students to engage in experiments that illustrate the principles they learn in the classroom, bridging the gap between theory and practice. It will also provide a safe, well ventilated space with additional storage, equipment and learning stations.
You can support this important project today. Go to our Giving page and choose “Physics Lab” in the dropdown options.
