LCS Builds Relationships from Day 1A foundation built on relationships…
LCS teachers annually complete Strong Connections assessments to help them gather valuable insight into their students’ unique needs. It is an important first step in creating a supportive partnership between our teachers, students, and families.
Grades 1-6 students attended school for Strong Connections on September 12 and September 15, 2025, allowing teachers to spend significant assessment time with each child in their care.
LCS utilizes the Strong Connections assessment and relationship building program that is designed to enhance the beginning of the year connection, assessment and familiarity of each student. Teachers are able to get to know their students from a variety of perspectives. They use the time (and smaller class size on these days) to build a strong foundation for a positive relationship between child and teacher. At LCS, we believe that education is built on relationships and beginning the school year with Strong Connections is a great way to realize our mission and vision.
