LCS Students Serve Up Jazz and Sweets

On January 16th, our much-anticipated annual Jazz Café featured vocal ensembles and jazz bands from Grades 7-12 at LCS. The evening was filled with captivating performances in a cozy, dimly lit setting, offering guests the perfect atmosphere for enjoying live music. As parents, grandparents, and friends gathered around tables, LCS music students served up delicious desserts and coffee, adding a personal touch to the event. The combination of excellent music, tasty treats, and a relaxed ambiance made for an unforgettable evening. Artwork from our Senior Years students was on display for guests to enjoy as well.

The event featured two seatings. The first, at 6:30 pm, showcased the talents of Grade 7-12 students, illustrating the growth of our music program over the years. The second, at 8:30 pm, highlighted our Grade 9-12 ensembles exclusively.

Thank you to Mrs. Janna Reid, Mrs. Marla Friesen, Mrs. Bobbie Fast, and Mrs. Kim Neufeld for their dedication in preparing our students for this outstanding performance opportunity.
