Nativity STEM Project in Grade 3

Students in Mrs. Simpson’s Grade 3 class recently built a stable and manger for baby Jesus during a STEM project. Groups worked with a variety of craft supplies to build a nativity structure and brainstormed creative ideas to keep Mary and Joseph standing up in their stable scenes. Classroom supplies like paper, popsicle sticks, straws and pipe cleaners were used, as well as recyclable materials from home.
