Prayers for Operation Christmas ChildEarly Years students gathered and prayed a blessing over hundreds of Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes that will be delivered to children around the world in the weeks ahead. Our annual closing OCC Chapel included a time of praise and worship, a video highlighting the impact of the Samaritan’s Purse initiative to bring the gospel and love of Christ to children and families globally, and a time of prayer (with Vice Principal Heather Karr) for the children receiving the shoeboxes – that they would learn about Jesus and place their faith in Him.
Thank you to our Early Years families for their contributions and shoebox donations. This annual project highlights our commitment to growing compassionate community members at LCS and equipping our students to serve and think beyond their own interests and needs.
