Students Shine at Fall Band Concert

Our Grade 7-12 band and jazz band students did an outstanding job at their first concert of the year on October 30, 2024! Their hard work and dedication really shone through, and the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by attending guests.

The Sound of Seasons included musical numbers that celebrated the four seasons, featuring numbers such as Spring (by Randall D. Standridge), Hurricane Season (arr. by John Wasson), and Autumn Leaves (arr. by Mark Taylor). Guests heard from our concert and jazz bands and were treated to a Senior Years flute ensemble, many fantastic soloists, and a closing number from our Grade 8-12 mass jazz band.

Thank you to our band teachers Mrs. Marla Friesen and Mrs. Bobbie Fast for preparing our performing arts students for the fantastic concert. Their efforts and practice did not go unnoticed!

Thanks also to parents and family members for supporting our young people in their pursuit of musical excellence. We’re so proud of all their efforts and can’t wait to see what’s next for all of these young musicians.
