2023 Senior Honour Band SelectionsCongratulations to the students pictured left to right: Angelia M. (flute – Grade 9), Heidi R. (clarinet – Grade 12), Pauline J. (bassoon – Grade 12), Samuel M. (saxophone – Grade 12), Kieran J. (percussion – Grade 12), Henry H. (trumpet – Grade 10), Biju J. (flute – Grade 11), and Yoona S (clarinet – Grade 11).
All eight Senior Years performing arts students were selected to the Manitoba Band Association Senior Honour Band. The audition to get into this provincial group is very competitive and these students have been practicing since summer. They performed at the Manitoba Senior Honour Band concert at Jubilee Place on November 4, after participating in workshops from November 2-4.
Bravo to our music students for their diligence, discipline and excellent auditions! This is a tremendous accomplishment. Thank you to LCS band teacher Mrs. Bobbie Fast for her encouragement and support.
