Athletics
Basketball at LCSBasketball season is here! It has been exciting to see our teams growing their skills, striving for excellence and serving as ambassadors for Christ on and off the court. All of our teams are up and running. You can find practice and game times on the Athletics Calendar located on the Athletics page of our Family Portal.
Congratulations to our Varsity Girls for winning the Nelson McIntyre tournament on January 7, and to our JV Boys for their victory at the Sanford tournament on January 14.
Our Varsity Boys placed 2nd on the B side at the Neelin tournament, 2nd place at the LCS tournament, and 4th at their Sanford tournament. Our Varsity Girls won the Nelson Mac tournament and are currently 3-0 in league play.
Our JV Boys placed 1st at the Sanford tournament, 3rd at the JH Bruns tournament, and 4th at the St. James tournament. They are 3-0 in league play. Our JV Girls are 1-2 in league play and their first tournament is this weekend at Lorette.
Grade 7-8 teams will begin next week!
Spectators are always welcome in the LCS gym! Look for home games on our Athletics Calendar and come on out and cheer on your Wings!
