Current Opportunities

Linden Christian School (LCS) invites applications for a Grade 3 teacher position for the 2024 – 2025 School year. LCS is a K-12 Independent school with over 1000 students and over 120 dedicated staff. The Grade 3 teacher will work in the Early Years division and report to the Early Years Vice Principal. This is a 10 month term position.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a valid MB Teaching Certificate;
  • Present a fully processed Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check;
  • Have a sincere love for Jesus Christ evidenced by lifestyle, including regular attendance at weekly church services;
  • Give evidence of a strong commitment to Christian faith in belief and practice, and be in agreement with LCS’ Mission, Vision and Core Value statements;

Linden Christian School (LCS) invites applications for the position of IT Media Support and Help Desk Technician.  

The IT Media Support and Help Desk Technician provides support to the IT Department and AV events, provides Help Desk support by responding to technical support requests from faculty and staff, and assists with other tech needs of the school. 

Preferred experience with audio visual equipment, Google Administration, Help Desk ticketing systems, computer workstations, Chromebooks, on-premise and cloud network, printers and other devices, and VOIP systems.

This position will suit an individual who enjoys serving others, providing creative solutions, is highly organized, likes to plan ahead but can adapt to last minute changes, has a positive attitude, and wants to learn and grow in an environment where serving God together is rewarding and meaningful.

 The successful candidate will:

Educational Assistant for the 2023-2024 school year. LCS is a K-12 independent school with almost 1000 students. The Substitute Educational Assistant (EA) is responsible to support the work of teachers and clinicians through a range of activities dependent upon specific student needs within the learning environment. EAs are valued members of the school team and make a significant contribution to the work of the school and the education of all students.

The successful candidate will be:

  • experienced working with students with learning needs;
  • be able to work with a wide age range of student needs and ages;
  • be comfortable assisting with high school subjects;
  • have a sincere love for Jesus Christ evidenced by lifestyle, including regular
  • attendance at weekly church services;

The School of Fine Arts requires an Art Class Instructor for September to March (or a portion of these months) throughout the 2024-2025 school year.

SOFA offers weekly art classes for children as an after school program. Generally two classes are offered: Grades 1-4 and from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm and Grades 5-8 from 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm on two weekdays.

Required Education: University degree in art OR a degree in Education OR art experience.

Required Experience: Experience working with children.

As part of our dynamic youth team, the Youth Minister will play a crucial role in creating environments where students can encounter Jesus and embrace a life of discipleship. Furthermore, the Youth Minister will offer guidance to volunteer leaders, provide spiritual support to both students and volunteers and actively engage parents as influential partners in the discipleship journey of their youth.

This position is 37.5 hours per week, equivalent to a full-time position (1.0 FTE).

In addition to regular office hours, availability is required on Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings, and Sundays, as these days are considered part of the work week.
