Concert and Jazz Bands DeliverGuests enjoyed LCS grade 7-12 concert bands and jazz ensembles on October 26, 2023.
The first LCS concert of the year, “All Creatures of our God and King” featured students performing song selections centered around an animal theme. From “Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite Concert March” to the “Hep Cat Blues”, the entire evening was a delight! Many student solos were enjoyed and we raised money as a community towards the purchase of a $5000 Timpani Drum for the LCS Music Program. Performing Arts Director Kim Neufeld announced the commencement of our Fall Fundraising Fiesta, with opportunities for our performing arts students to fundraise for upcoming trips.
Thank you to our band teachers Marla Friesen and Bobbie Fast for preparing our students for the Fall Band Concert, and to parents and families for their support of our young people in their pursuit of musical excellence.
