Creative Manitoba Animal Project in Grade 1

Students in Miss Rumbolt’s Grade 1 class recently spent time reading, researching, writing and creating to demonstrate their learning about a Manitoba animal of their choice.
This culminating science project saw students create a diorama that showcased their animal in it’s natural habitat. Each diorama included food, water, space, shelter, air and a lot of creativity!
Grade 1 students also wrote an informative book to accompany their animal diorama and then shared their project with Kindergarten classroom buddies.
