Designing Food Trucks in Grade 5

Students in Mrs. LaRae Driedger’s Grade 5 class created their own food trucks while working through a math unit on measurement and shape.
The Grade 5s calculated and built the base, walls and roof of their trucks. Walls and floors needed to line up and appliances, furniture and cabinets were designed and fitted to the small spaces.
Details like menus, signage and awnings were also included in the student designs.
Way to go Grade 5! It was exciting to see you develop your math skills and grow in creativity.
