LCS Christmas Chapel Traditions

Our K-12 Christmas Chapel on December 22, 2023 included LCS traditions, students and staff in Christmas apparel, a new guest, Charlie Brown’s true meaning of Christmas and plenty of merriment! We have been inviting the LCS community to this annual event for 25 years! We sing carols, watch a clip from “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, and celebrate our compassionate community members.

This year our Middle Years students raised a record breaking $12,825.65 for the World Vison Gift Catalogue campaign and a presentation was made to World Vision National Manager of Church Engagement and Christian Partnership Chris Schroeder.

Our Student Council Co-Presidents prayed for a safe Christmas season for our LCS families and we watched Linus share about the true meaning of Christmas. Students were delighted by the visit from T-Rex, who had made an earlier appearance at our Middle Years Christmas Concert.

Guests to chapel also enjoyed singing Christmas carols together and a time of refreshments and fellowship.
