Strong Connections to Support Each StudentOur Grade 1-6 students enjoyed individualized time with their teachers and gathered in smaller group settings for activities during Strong Connections on September 13 and 16, 2024.
Strong Connections is an assessment and relationship building program that equips students in Grades 1-6 for the year ahead. Our teachers spent time in individual assessments to learn how to best support each child in their classroom (academically, emotionally, spiritually). Students also enjoyed team building activities and visits to stations in the library, music room and Playscape throughout the day. Conflict resolution and playground protocol were reviewed in smaller group settings.
Our Strong Connections program provides an opportunity for teachers to extend and consolidate their understanding of each child and facilitates a strong foundation for a positive teacher – child relationship throughout the school year.
We’re off to a great start!
